Sterling Voss is a recurring character in the first season. He is played by recurring co-star Jordan Woods-Robinson and debuts in "Feeding Frenzy". He is a motel receptionist and a witness in the disappearance of Mike Strauss.



Sterling is a receptionist at a Miami motel. He is a closeted homosexual.

Season 1Edit

Sterling was the receptionist at the motel where Mike Strauss was abducted. He comes under pressure to testify from District Attorney Jack Klein but refuses to say anything to Klein's investigator Doug Feehan; he has been payed off by crime boss Ben Diamond's organization.

When he comes under further pressure after being arrested for propositioning a vice cop he reveals that Strauss was with Judi Fisher on the night of his abduction. Vincent Lamb warns Sterling that he must recant his testimony. Sterling worries about his mother finding out about his homosexuality but Lamb warns that he faces more severe consequences if he does not recant. He pays Sterling $5,000 and instructs him to buy his mother something before telling her. Sterling commits suicide rather than do what either side wants.[1]
